In February of 2012, Mariana Amatullo participated in the Social Impact Design Summit, where designers, inventors and funders from across the globe discussed strategies and actions to advance the field of socially responsible design.
A year later, a white paper outlining the Summit’s findings was published. On February 21, leaders in the field of social impact will reconvene at the Greene Space at New York Public Radio for a panel discussion focusing on the white paper’s recommendations and proposals for how best to move forward and develop this burgeoning field.
Intelligent Coalitions: Design and Social Impact will be moderated by Cynthia E. Smith and feature Mariana Amatullo, Bryan Bell, Krista Donaldson and Ezio Manzini.
The event organized by Cooper Hewitt, National Design Museum is free and open to the public, to register click here.
