Ungolden Silence: Censorship, Fear and Disability

Silencing is not always government-backed. Often, acts that closely mimic censorship are economically or emotionally enforced, or appear to would-be creatives as a lack of access to resources.

Anne Elizabeth Moore has explored censorship in text, comics, and conceptual works for a decade, asking crucial questions about when and why silence occurs. Anne Elizabeth Moore is an award-winning journalist, best-selling comics anthologist and internationally-lauded cultural critic.
