The UNFPA “We Are Youth” Campaign is a Finalist in the 2012 Spark Awards
The 2012 Spark: Communication Awards recently named Designmatters and UNFPA partnership project, the “We Are Youth” campaign as a finalist.
The campaign will now move on to phase two of the competition. Winners will be announced at the annual Spark Design Awards Exhibit held in San Francisco, at the Autodesk Design Gallery January 18, 2013.
The “We Are Youth” campaign aims to be a powerful call-to-action for achieving the goals set forth in the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD), specifically the agenda guiding UNFPA’s mandate to advance the human rights of young people and ensure meaningful youth participation in decision-making processes.
