Garret Scullin is the Senior Coordinator for Designmatters at ArtCenter College of Design, where he supports operational activities and essential functions of the Department in executing its social innovation mission.
Before joining Designmatters, Garret served as Associate Producer and Music Supervisor for several highly acclaimed independent films, including “Luster” and “FAQs.” He was the music supervisor on “Stuntwood: The Birth, Life, and Death of a Skateboard,” which won the Best Documentary award at 2007 X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival. Garret has extensive experience in coordination, support and management of broadcast video teams, including at Outlaw Laboratories, and in online media at Walt Disney, E! Networks and Warner Bros.
Garret has also worked in the Education Department of the Paley Center for Media, Beverly Hills (formerly the Museum of Television and Radio), and currently manages Takotsubo Records in partnership with the band, Kitty Craft. Garret received his BFA in Film/TV Production from Chapman University, California. He lives in Northeast Los Angeles with his daughter and a handsome cat named Bandit.
