Hosted by RISD and Brown University, Better World x Design (BWxD) is the largest student-run conference in the U.S.
Their mission engages how design can move “the 90%” forward through the lens of sustainable and social impact. Designmatters Minor students, Charlie Hodges (Product Design) and Alexia Chuck (Graphic Design), were sent to BWxD from September 22-24, 2017 to explore, experience and discover “what mattered” to participants and content creators at this year’s conference. This zine is a small collection of their inspiring moments, visual documentations and illuminating encounters.
